Ali started her makeup journey at just 15, earning her certification and working at a local salon to save for the College of Makeup Art & Design. Her talent and warm personality quickly drew bridesmaids and brides-to-be to book her for their weddings.

As the business grew, Lydia (aka Mom!) got certified too, helping on larger weddings so Ali could focus on school. What began as a way to support a dream became our shared passion ...creating confidence, joy, and enhancing natural beauty for every woman who sits in our chair.

Today, Ali Renee Makeup is still family-run, built on love, artistry, and the belief that makeup should celebrate the beauty that’s already there.

I am a freelance Certified Makeup Artist, and graduate of the College of Makeup Art and Design with accreditations in Hairstyling, Beauty & Creative Makeup, Film, TV and Special Effects.
I have always had a passion for art and at the age of 14, I worked on set at the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope as an Assistant Makeup Artist. Since then, I have worked on various theatre productions in the Northumberland Region.
After receiving my Makeup Artist Certification at the age of 15, I worked as a freelance make up artist doing bridal and special occasion makeup. I've had the Honour of working for a former local MP in preparation for a television debate and my Bridal Work has been published in TodaysBridal.ca.
